About Miya
I host relaxed, beginner-friendly painting experiences in Yomitan, Okinawa, the place I grew up and love.
After many years in hospitality, I learned how meaningful it is to create a comfortable and welcoming experience for others. At Pinto Beetle, painting is a gentle time to slow down, connect, and make something personal. Even with the same design, I support each guest so their painting becomes their own. I look forward to creating a warm memory together in Yomitan.
Before You Book
There is a cat in the home. If you have cat allergies, please keep this in mind before booking.
Advance booking is recommended. Last-minute requests are welcome if space is available.
The studio is cozy and best for small groups, with a maximum of 6 guests per session.
Aprons are provided, but guests are responsible for any paint that gets on clothing or personal belongings. Please wear something relaxed and paint-friendly.

After you submit your request, we will confirm availability. Payment: Cash or credit card (contactless payment available). Location details will be sent by email once your reservation is confirmed.

For paintings without a scheduled class, choose your preferred painting and date. We’ll confirm availability with you.
Other dates are requestable. Weekdays start from 10:00. Weekends are available at 10:00 or 13:00.
